Pathfinder: A Movie Review DecemSouthern Today This movie, staring Bones from the new Star Trek movies, follows a viking boy who was left behind in America and raised by natives 600 years before Columbus. Set 600 years before Columbus, this depicts a showdown between peaceful Native Americans and invading Vikings, who rape and pillage with all the sadistic glee of characters in a film directed by Marcus Nispel (2003’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre ). Launched one month after Mars Global Surveyor, Pathfinder was sent on a slightly shorter seven-month trajectory designed for arrival earlier. I enjoyed it for a Drama that is smack dab in the middle of the Fiction genre of film. Pathfinder is a curious, cross-genre movie with elements of horror, sword-clanging fantasy, historical fiction, and Native American mysticism. A ridiculous waste of time, money and effort. Hint: Much bloodshed (especially in the Unrated version) follows, lots of bloodshed! Ghost is a former Viking child abandoned as being not strong enough by his father, raised by an Indian tribe, in love with an Indian maiden (of course), and the brave if somewhat unwilling hero of the story.

On the downside, your suspension of disbelief might get herniated. yeah man! I never even heard of this movie before I came across it. The Shaman is a very interesting class, gaining a varied allotment of spells and abilities that evoke both the Druid and the Witch.
